Description

This sculpture made of plaster and cast resin is the exclusive limited edition of 500 pieces that Daniel Arsham has created as a replica of his 2016 "Blue Calcite Hat".

The first version of the iconic Yankee's baseball cap was created in blue calcite crystal and hydrostone and was part of Daniel Arsham's first solo show at New York's Perrotin Gallery. The exhibition was called "Circa 2345" and it featured sculptural pieces, all sports related, and the breakthrough use of color (blue and amethyst) as well as a large scale installation.

The work is accompanied by a pair of art handling white gloves. A holographic label indicates the number within the edition and verifies its authenticity. The work is sent inside its original sealed packaging.
